This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to Ohio. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.

Adding a new AfD discussion
Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
  1. Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
  2. You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Ohio|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
Removing a closed AfD discussion
Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
Other types of discussions
You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Ohio. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.
Further information
For further information see Wikipedia's deletion policy and WP:AfD for general information about Articles for Deletion, including a list of article deletions sorted by day of nomination.

This list is also part of the larger list of deletion debates related to US.

User:Porfiriotorres991 attempted to nominate this article for deletion, with the following reason: "this article has nearly no sources, nor serves any importance on Wikipedia. A page is already created related to the high school, and information of the school district can be found there. There is no need for a separate district page". I am just fixing the nomination, with no recommendation on my part yet. Metropolitan90 (talk) 07:15, 18 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Congressional candidate who lost by a significant margin in the 1950s and was never elected/appointed to any other office. Most of, if not all of the sources for the article seem to lack WP:SIGCOV, and I did not find more existing coverage on the internet. Seems to fail WP:GNG and WP:SIGCOV EaglesFan37 (talk) 19:36, 17 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Mayor of a town of around 15,000 residents/city council member. All sources for the article have link rot, and only one of the sources could have been considered an independent and reliable source, and that source likely would not have been considered WP:SIGCOV. Cannot find any information on the internet that shows the subject meets WP:GNG or WP:SIGCOV EaglesFan37 (talk) 20:06, 16 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Previously deleted a few years ago, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kate Miller (as well as Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/IncidentArchive1082#Legal_threat_by_Dorierosie for further context) and recreated by a SPA. There appear to be basically no sources specifically about Miller that could be used to construct a reasonable biography of her. I also don't think her roles are enough to pass WP:NACTRESS, while she has appeared in several major TV shows, these appear to have been only minor roles. Hemiauchenia (talk) 20:22, 13 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. None of the roles are major enough to qualify the subject under WP:NACTRESS. The only role that comes close is the role in the original casting of Moon Over Buffalo, but it is unclear to me how the guideline works for plays and other theater events given that they can have multiple different casts and typically a particular casting is not really notable itself (there are some exceptions for very popular plays - I could believe that the original cast vs West End cast for Six (musical) would be notable). Non notable film festival. Lacks coverage in independent reliable sources. Gets a little local attention but nothing outside that. Notability is not inherited from people they give awards to or from films that showed there. (Notemost incoming links are for the other Oxford International Film Festival, based on England, not this small local fest) duffbeerforme (talk) 13:38, 10 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete: Well, their domain is for sale, so this doesn't seem to exist these days. From what I'm reading, it only lasted from 2007-2010... There was some coverage, but nothing since then. Beyond proving it existed at some point, I'm not sure this was a notable event... I guess it could be a one-line mention in the town's article, but I don't see much notability beyond that. Just reading the older AfD from 2008 is... odd. Oh look, this mentions it, must be notable. Oaktree b (talk) 20:07, 17 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
