- Alexandrina Victoria von Wettin, née Hanover → Queen Victoria (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Per #8 of WP:RFD#DELETE, I propose that this redirect to the article on the British queen who lent her name to the Victorian era be deleted. First, the WP:COMMONNAME of this monarch is Victoria, not Alexandrina Victoria. Second, this redirect implies that Victoria used a surname of Hanover. Although she is indeed from the House of Hanover, she would not have used a surname in practice, like other British monarchs. Third, von Wettin may imply that Victoria was German by nationality, which is not the case. Finally, Victoria, via Albert, formally married into the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, not the House of Wettin per se. AndrewPeterT (talk) (contribs) 20:20, 11 August 2025 (UTC)

- Keep, referenced by this exact name in an article about her, and there are other scattered usages of this on other sites, eg. here. Alexandrina is techically her first name, and House of Wettin is apparently the "parent house" of House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. While it might not be technically the "correct" name via royal naming conventions it seems to be in use by some, and it isn't harmful or ambiguous, so keep. BugGhost 🦗👻 22:37, 11 August 2025 (UTC)

- Bess of England → Elizabeth I (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Per #8 of WP:RFD#DELETE, I propose that this redirect to the article on England's Virgin Queen be deleted. Although I am aware that Elizabeth I is also called Good Queen Bess, (e.g. A), I cannot recall her even being referred to as Bess without any qualifier. Also, Bess of England implies that Bess was the Virgin Queen's regnal name, which is not the case. AndrewPeterT (talk) (contribs) 20:01, 11 August 2025 (UTC)

First batch of some unmentioned redirects that are not explained anywhere on the English Wikipedia nor on Wiktionary. Some have "article" history that was subsequently blanked but not merged; some used to be mentioned at Poodle crossbreed but that is now also a redirect. See also previous discussions at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2025 April 10#Malkie or Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2025 April 10#Boodle (dog). 1234qwer1234qwer4 19:33, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
- Delete as these are not useful. If mentioned at list of dog crossbreeds they could be retargetted but I'd not encourage the inclusion of entries solely to justify a redirect (there are hundreds of thousands of possible crossbreed combinations) Traumnovelle (talk) 01:50, 12 August 2025 (UTC)
- I agree that the possible invented crossbreed names are probably limitless. I/we, ages ago, worked to try to keep out articles and lists with any except (by some definition) commonly used or accepted crossbreed names. The question came up about what do we do for people who come to wikipedia looking for an answer to some names that are less solid yet still crop up fairly regularly. Poodle xbreeds are so common that it seemed to make sense (at the time) to have a page that addressed that briefly, but again that could be a very very long list.
- Most of these were added after we'd delete a new page with that title and then some entirely different person would show up eventually and add it again. An attempt to forestall ongoing repeat maintenance.
- I wonder whether we could do something like add a short section to Dog crossbreed article like, if you ended up here after entering a specific dog breed, something something something.
- And with that brilliant suggestion, ta, good luck. Elf | Talk 03:05, 12 August 2025 (UTC)
Note: Added {{Old RfD list}} (nom did already mention these in the original listing). --MYCETEAE 🍄🟫—talk 17:42, 12 August 2025 (UTC)- Retarget Chiweiner → List of dog crossbreeds#Chiweenie and tag as {{R from alternative name}}. Delete the rest. None of the others are listed at List of dog crossbreeds and most have little or no evidence of widespread usage on Google or are not clearly the primary topic (for example, 'Sharpdale' is the name of several companies and also a location in Scotland). The limited sources I was able to quickly locate on a few of these did not clearly meet the inclusion criteria for List of dog crossbreeds. --MYCETEAE 🍄🟫—talk 21:53, 15 August 2025 (UTC)

- Ajit Singh (race walker) → India at the 1960 Summer Olympics#Athletics (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
At Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ajit Singh (race walker), there was consensus against an article for this person, but no consensus about whether the redirect that now exists is plausible. Consequently I'm moving the discussion to RfD to settle this. This is a procedural nomination, I'm neutral. Sandstein 18:39, 11 August 2025 (UTC)

- Delete - Not a plausible search term as it is disambiguated. Not helpful to the reader. Wikidata is preserved in any case and doesn't require the existence of a link on here. Wikipedia is not a repository of links. FOARP (talk) 08:39, 12 August 2025 (UTC)
- Keep, please read WP:Articles for deletion/Ajit Singh (race walker) and User talk:FOARP#Deleting redirects with disambiguators. There are over 120,000 categorized disambiguated redirects, so saying that all dab redirects should be deleted simply because they are disambiguated doesn't hold up and isn't a reason for deletion in any policy or guideline I could find.
This isn't part of my reason for keeping, but as a technical note although Wikidata items are preserved when an English sitelink is deleted, any categories on the redirect, disambiguated Special:WhatLinksHere data, and the page history are not preserved. (You might think that the WhatLinksHere data is preserved from redlinks, but policy is to remove redlinks to deleted articles so that won't be kept either.) --Habst (talk) 16:13, 12 August 2025 (UTC) - Keep – Disambiguated names are plausible search terms. Per WP:RFD#KEEP,
However, avoid deleting such redirects if: Someone finds them useful. Hint: If someone says they find a redirect useful, they probably do. You might not find it useful—this is not because the other person is being untruthful, but because you browse Wikipedia in different ways. Evidence of usage can be gauged by using the wikishark or pageviews tool on the redirect to see the number of views it gets.
Looking at the page views of redirected articles, we can see that they are being used (hence, people do actual find them useful): Francisco García (athlete); Gustav Wagner (bobsledder); Mohamed Abdullah (Emirati athlete); Zhao Wei (basketball); Mohamed Bangura (boxer); William Connor (gymnast); Antoine Masson (boxer), etc... So, based on the page views of the mentioned redirected articles, the title is certainly a plausible search term. Aviationwikiflight (talk) 16:20, 12 August 2025 (UTC) - Delete: Wikipedia is WP:NOTLINKFARM. - @Let'srun and @LibStar, to understand the argument, would you also !vote to delete the over 120,000 dab redirects we have on Wikipedia for the same reason? WP:NOTLINKFARM is about links, not articles or redirects -- whether to have a redirect and deciding the number of on-wiki links we should have to that redirect are two separate questions and the latter isn't being decided here. --Habst (talk) 21:01, 15 August 2025 (UTC)

Thryduulf (talk) 16:03, 11 August 2025 (UTC)- Retarget per Tavix. Thryduulf (talk) 17:13, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
- Retarget to List of Tetris variants, where one can find the various Smartphone releases of the game. In particular, the 2020 N3TWORK version and the 2024 PlayStudios version are official releases for smartphones. -- Tavix (talk) 16:21, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
- Retarget as per Tavix and tag as R from incomplete disambig; the list proposed serves as a perfectly functional DAB page. 𝔏𝔲𝔫𝔞𝔪𝔞𝔫𝔫🌙🌙🌙 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔐𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔫𝔦𝔢𝔰𝔱 (talk) 16:53, 11 August 2025 (UTC)

- The result of the discussion was disambiguate. Seems to be another consensus to move the DAB to the base name. RM can handle any future movement ventures. (non-admin closure) Utopes (talk / cont) 18:58, 22 August 2025 (UTC)

"London railway station" (without the "(disambiguation)" ) is already a redirect. Therefore, this search term is impossible but the redirect is also not useful. JacobTheRox(talk | contributions) 10:38, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
- Revert to this version of the disambiguation page. The subsequent "improvements" have actually not made it any easier for readers. Thryduulf (talk) 13:29, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
- Revert to dab per Thryduulf. As we can see from that page, the term is ambiguous. London railway station itself should probably be included in this discussion, as well. Tevildo (talk) 17:20, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
- Comment: As London railway station is a redirect, it should become the disambiguation page and London railway station (disambiguation) should become a redirect from a disambiguation page. JacobTheRox(talk | contributions) 14:10, 7 August 2025 (UTC)
- Note: I've added London railway station since its fate seems relevant to this discussion. Left guide (talk) 01:01, 8 August 2025 (UTC)

Relisting comment: London railway station was listed at the RfD but not tagged for RfD. I just tagged it.

- Comment I'm with @JacobTheRox - make London railway station the disambiguation page and redirect London railway station (disambiguation) page there. I also support the content reversion with whatever ends up as the dismabig page as proposed by @Thryduulf 10mmsocket (talk) 12:54, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
- Revert per Thryduulf. London station group might be a useful concept but it is definitely not the primary topic for London railway station; the dab page is far more useful. Rosbif73 (talk) 14:30, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
- Revert per User:Thryduulf. 162 etc. (talk) 15:06, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
- Revert per User:Thryduulf London railway station can refer to other things, not just London station group. NeoJade Talk/Contribs 17:32, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
- Revert per User:Thryduulf. A disambiguation page is a far better destination than London station group, which is geographically and chronologically limited.:-- Verbarson talkedits 18:24, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
DunnoRevert per editor Thryduulf, whose idea has merit; however, I wonder that if the London railway station (disambiguation) page is reverted, exactly which entry would be the PTOPIC? If there is no primary topic, then of course London railway station should carry the weight, yes? So with no primary topic, let the base name, "London railway station", title the dab page. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. – welcome! – 23:38, 11 August 2025 (UTC); edited 03:30, 13 August 2025 (UTC)- At the time of the revision I highlighted, London railway station redirected to London station group as it currently does. My proposal was not to alter that but just reinstate the disambiguation page for other uses (WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT), indeed that redirect was not part of the discussion until after my comment. It seems though the consensus emerging is to make the disambiguation page primary - something I am equally happy with. Thryduulf (talk) 01:19, 12 August 2025 (UTC)

- Disambiguation list/Fix in useful way: Remember about Thomas the Tank Engine "going to London" and each engine talking about (their own) different (London) railway station! Same for London station (Ontario) in Canada. It should really, per the name, be a disambiguation list for all stations with "London" in the name. —Sladen (talk) 07:41, 12 August 2025 (UTC)

- Worldcorp Enterprises → Pizzagate conspiracy theory#Worldcorp Enterprises (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
I have recently found a new obsession: Worldcorp Enterprises, as is mentioned here.
However, as edgy and borderline CA-ish as it can get (like "fatherhood.wma" for example), I don't think it was ever rolled in with Pizzagate, as I could find nothing from a quick search it was mentioned, but only in a section created by the redirect creator and which was reverted by CaptainEek 2 hours later. And Worldcorp is no longer mentioned in this article (now) anyhow. User:Someone-123-321 (I contribute, Talk page so SineBot will shut up) 07:59, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
- Delete. Searching Pizzagate and Worldcorp together pops out a few things like [1], but nothing useful for an article. ⇌ Synpath 21:41, 12 August 2025 (UTC)
