The café is directly served by CTA bus route 18 16th-18th; the closest "L" station is 18th station on the CTA Pink Line.

Fun fact: This building is the former studio of Francis D. Nemecek, a Bohemian photographer in the early 20th century. Noted architect and fellow Bohemian Frank Randak designed the building in 1907 with its iconic skylight, ideal for portrait taking before the advent of flashbulbs. A sculpture of the building can be seen at the Czechoslovak Heritage Museum in Oak Brook, Illinois.
