Draft declinedThank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Your draft submission to Articles for creation has been reviewed but not accepted at this time.
FeedbackThe reviewer, Grapesurgeon, left the following feedback:
provide significant coverage: discuss the person in detail, not brief mentions or interviews lacking independent analysis;
are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
are independent: not connected to the person, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.
Sourcing largely seems to be closely related to Cole (esp KEXP/KUOW) and primary sourcing/interviews. Those we tend to discount for proving notability. I think it's likely Cole is notable, but would make me more comfortable approving if we had more independent sources.
Thanks for taking the time to review! I've edited to remove the quotations from KEXP interviews. I am continuing to include the KUOW citations because while KUOW is also a radio station in Seattle with an affiliation with the University of Washington, they are separate entities and KUOW is an NPR-affiliated news station and it was big news in 2024 when Kevin decided to retire. To the best of my knowledge, the journalist, Angela King, is not connected to Kevin Cole. Thanks! Spitzbuebe (talk) 18:33, 1 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
