NPL Victoria deletion
[edit]Hello Matilda Maniac. I see and understand your points for deletion for the National Premier Leagues Victoria, 2, 3 articles. The inscription come from an article such as 2004–05 NSW Premier League season where I initially thought, that state league competitions are allowed to have their own individual articles and them being up for a couple years. If we come to the agreement that we terminate the Victorian NPL ones which we probably will, then the NSW Premier League seasons should also be discussed and terminated along with them and just redirect them towards each federation seasons. FastCube (talk) 13:15, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
- I will copy your comments to the Football Task Force page and reply there as a more appropriate location than my talk page.Matilda Maniac (talk) 23:12, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
Palestine's home venue
[edit]We don't have to anticipate things. The Algerian Federation's statement means nothing without the approval of FIFA and the AFC. This is a precedent. Dl.thinker (talk) 00:13, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
- That is simply an opinion, not WP policy. There is currently a credible reference to back up the venue location, so it should be left until it changes and there is a reputable source for that change. There is nothing to say something cannot exist until it has FIFA approval. Matilda Maniac (talk) 07:19, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
Thank you - edits to 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup qualification (inter-confederation play-offs)
[edit]
Your recent edits to 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup qualification (inter-confederation play-offs) look very good. I quite like the way you divided the tables. The article now look very elegant. Have a cup of tea on me! — Jkudlick ⚓ (talk) 15:11, 30 July 2025 (UTC)
- Sipping it now, it was still quite warm. Cheers ! Matilda Maniac (talk) 22:44, 30 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hello.
- I moved the table so as to summarize the information.
- We have 2 tables with the same information. So i make only 1 but i did not delete neither your information nor your notes.
- Thank you Rey1996ss (talk) 01:55, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
- You replaced a table format back to bullet point form, still has same information "repeated". As you will see above, there is feedback that the table format is considered "very elegant". Matilda Maniac (talk) 02:08, 3 August 2025 (UTC)

My suspicions on 93.140.53.165
[edit]I have a reason to believe that 93.140.53.165 might be an IP sock of Sportski recenzist. The IP address geolocates to Croatia, which matches previous IP socks, and checking contributions shows they have an interest within Southeast Asian and East Asian football related topics, particularly football leagues, which is the same as the user. I reverted them at articles related to Malaysia Super League in 2022 after they assumed leagues would shift around following the end of one of the leagues, and for a while, the user behind the edits had harassed me over it. He has since stopped harassing me, but I do believe this one might be worth watching in case more disruptive activity in the subject area happens, especially with other IPs across Croatia with the same edits in the subject. I would do something myself, but I've chosen to avoid direct interference with this individual since the harassment. Jalen Barks (Woof) 15:16, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
- Jalen this is why Wikipedia should have people log in too do stuff, so people like you don't get stalked and harassed. Jp33442 (talk) 15:20, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
Endorsements in the 1976 Democratic presidential primaries
[edit]Hello, just wanted to personally thank you for your edits to the article I am currently working on. I wasn't quite sure how to group the references, and my past attempts to acquire help or even correcting fell flat. The only point of contention with your edits is efn|name; what I had wanted to do was keep track of the flow of support, but I wanted viewers from a glance, without even placing the cursor over the efn itself, what their last endorsement was, what Party they might be should they not be a Democrat, and.... well, really just those two things. That is why Lloyd Bentsen was labeled LB, Henry Jackson HJ, Independent IND, and so on. What I couldn't figure out though was how to remove the numbering, as it was reading as LB-1, LB-2, and so on. There might be a better way of visually organizing it, but I haven't be able to come up with anything yet. Again, thanks for the help, and if you have any thoughts on the article, or others in the series, I'd be happy to hear them. Ariostos (talk) 18:05, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
- Cheers, Ariostos. I left a response at WikiProject Politics Talk page as a more appropriate forum. Matilda Maniac (talk) 00:05, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
- That's fine, just replied there. Ariostos (talk) 01:29, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
- Actually I just want to check; with the conversion I'm doing in Endorsements in the 1972 Democratic presidential primaries, are the references set up correctly in the McGovern batch? Just would like to know if that is how they are meant to be properly done. Ariostos (talk) 01:32, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
- I see it's been sent to Draft space, which is good. Please check the reference for one which is used multiple times, but where the reference itself is missing: The named reference Politicians Aim For The Stars was invoked but never defined. Matilda Maniac (talk) 13:14, 15 September 2025 (UTC)

In use
[edit]When an {{In use}} message box is placed on a page, like I did on 2025 Australian Championship, please do not edit it. It means another user is actively working on the page. I don't want to go through the headache of reconciling your edits and mine, so I've regrettably had to blanket revert your edits so I could save mine. You're welcome to re-do any changes you made that I may have missed in mine. — AFC Vixen 🦊 08:37, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
- On mobile. Didnt see it come up, and wouldn't have editted here if I had seen it. I do know what it is for. Matilda Maniac (talk) 08:39, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
- Added in use to my Sandbox (via my laptop), and when I look at my Sandbox through my mobile it does not display. So its either a bug, or my phone is too old, but I blame Apple Inc. on principle. Matilda Maniac (talk) 09:10, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
- And next time you decide to use the {{In use}} message box, actually post something. I noticed it was also an hour with the tag on before you posted. Not good form, in my opinion. Especially as it was at a point when the round concluded and it was likely that the out-of-date material would be editted. It seems that theres a bit of WP:OWN at that article. Matilda Maniac (talk) 01:33, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- This is getting ridiculous. I was slower than you'd like, and so you immediately assume malice? Stop harassing me, or I will have to get an administrator involved. — AFC Vixen 🦊 01:47, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- I think you should chill, dude! If you think this is harrassment and deserving of getting administrators involved, feel free. Matilda Maniac (talk) 04:01, 28 October 2025 (UTC)

adding ALW fixtures
[edit]Hey MM, just out of interest, when you added "some forthcoming fixtures" to ALW club's pages (such as here), based on what did you select which fixtures to add? If it doesn't make a difference to you I'd suggest that in future you add chronologically (i.e. in the example above rounds 1-7) as it helps readers more I think and also is easier for other editors afterwards to just add on the rest of the fixtures (in a block rather then having to do more copyediting). --SuperJew (talk) 03:29, 14 November 2025 (UTC)
- I copy-pasted out of other existing articles, which got a large proportion done with not too much effort, and left it to someone else to add more matches. Formatting was not consistent between the other editors who added those matches initially, which is another minor issue. So of course it makes a difference to me in terms of my time available; I can edit however and whenever I see fit. Whether or not I had a plan to add additional fixtures chronologically covering the next 2-3 weeks, I haven't yet got around to it, and wont have time this weekend either. Matilda Maniac (talk) 03:38, 14 November 2025 (UTC)
- okay cheers. you explained it and that's fine. and also highlighted what I wrote that my suggestion is if it doesn't make a difference to you. cool cool cool. calm down and keep you shirt on ;) --SuperJew (talk) 19:58, 15 November 2025 (UTC)

World Cup qualified teams sections in 2018 and 2022.
[edit]Why did you delete so much information about who qualified for the 2018, 2022 and 2026 World Cups? Many of the facts on the sections were very interesting and I think it makes no sense to delete a lot of the info that had been their for years. I like knowing these random facts and all the teams who didn't make it or not. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 01:18, 20 December 2025 (UTC)

Hello! Park Bo-gum
[edit]Sorry to disturb, but a page you edited just got blanked and it’s puzzling to my why. Hope you can help since a lot of the material got erased. It’s not even merged to the primary page, it just got deleted. Thank you. It’s this https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Park_Bo-gum_discography&diff=prev&oldid=1331983516 ~2026-17900-1 (talk) 10:46, 9 January 2026 (UTC)
- Not blanked, but a WP:BOLD re-direct back to the Park Bo-gum article from @Preferwiki:, restoring the original re-direct. If there were useful edits there that were not made at the 'parent' article, feel free to edit there and improve that article. Matilda Maniac (talk) 11:59, 9 January 2026 (UTC)
A big thank you from PaulasBunt
[edit]I wanted to express my sincere thanks for your edit: Draft:Clara Sansoni I'm a bit out of practice, and some things are different in the English Wikipedia than in the German one... at first I was confused — I had copied the structure from a GA — but thanks to your edit and a little rethinking on my part, I'm satisfied with the presentation :) and your intervention. Proposed Edits of Wiki's No. 25 Squadron RAAF webpage
[edit]Hi Matida Maniac, based on user ColinFine’s advice re WP:BRD I request your agreement to the following relatively minor edits of Wiki’s No. 25 Squadron RAAF article page as follows below - the proposed deletions are shown in bold, underlined italic font enclosed by parentheses; the proposed insertions are shown in bold plain font.
Proposed Revised Text:
With the threat of invasion passed, (in) by early January 1945 the squadron was re-located to Cunderdin (. There they were re-) equipped with B-24 Liberator heavy bombers tasked with attacking Japanese shipping and base facilities in the Japanese occupied Netherlands East Indies (NEI – now Indonesia). Operations against these targets began 2 months later with the squadron's Liberators usually staging through Corunna Downs and Truscott airfields in north-Western Australia from its Cunderdin base. From March to August 1945 the squadron's Liberators flew a combined total of at least 85 missions totalling 5,960 hours against enemy targets, including diversionary raids over NEI to assist the Allied landings at Brunei Bay in northern Borneo.
Proposed Revised (ie a replacement) Note a:
Until January 2023 this article included the incorrect statement from an external source that 25 Squadron moved to Tarakan (Juwata Airport in North Kalimantan, Indonesia)"...in June 1945 until the end of the war."
Reasons for the Proposed Edits:
The 1st part of the proposed edit of the existing text that was in the main added by this user in early 2023 is a minor rewording edit clarifying that by early January 1945 (I believe 1 January 1945) was relocated to Cunderdin and already had at least some Liberators on strength.
The 2nd part of the proposed edit is a minor rewording edit of the existing text to clarify/confirm without doubt that 25 Squadron’s home base was at RAAF Cunderdin until its last bombing missions in early August 1945; and to re-locate the reference to Note a to the end of the words from its Cunderdin base. in the edited sentence.
The original (ie existing) Note a. was inserted by this user in the intended to be helpful belief the detail in it (ie the reference to the AWM’s correction) was necessary and needed to explain and substantiate to Wiki users and readers the correction of the old, incorrect statement in the article’s text that 25 Squadron moved to Tarakan (Juwata Airport in North Kalimantan, Indonesia)"...in June 1945 until the end of the war."
Now, after 3 years I believe the existing Note a has served its intended purpose and its detail is therefore no longer necessary, and it would be improved by either rephrasing in less detailed, more neutral terms as proposed above OR by deleting it in toto.
If you are agreeable to the above edits I am happy to try to properly carry them out (although I am unsure how to keep the existing references and how to re-locate the reference to Note a) OR for you to do so on my behalf?
Your agreement to the above proposed edits is requested and would be appreciated. ~~~~ Shellac41 (talk) 07:54, 20 February 2026 (UTC)
- You don't need my agreement. Just be WP:BOLD and make the edits you want yourself. If it doesnt quite work with the formatting, I am here to help you. Matilda 03:10, 21 February 2026 (UTC)
