Hello!

I’m new here and I’m curious to have some advice. I suggested an edit to the entry on Supply and Demand (copied below)—if no one responds or takes the initiative to implement it, should I make the edit? It is absurd that this topic doesn’t mention the formal disproof (Sonnenschein-Mantel-Debreu theorem) of the microeconomic basis for supply and demand in this article. However, this is a more advanced edit and possibly controversial (although no one contests the SMD theorem), so would you like to advise?

“The Sonnenschein–Mantel–Debreu theorem demonstrated that individual preferences do not aggregate into the near downward sloping pattern shown in these curves or settle on a unique point of equilibrium. It is a proof that Supply and Demand is misguided (or at least, presently unfounded on a theoretical level) and this should be mentioned in the introduction to this article.

Although the SMD theorem was proven in the 1970s, it is consistently not taught in conjunction with S&D, leaving Econ students (and others) unaware that there is anything wrong with the theory. The people deserve to know! The advancement of knowledge will not occur without them being taught together.“

This seems like something you can put on the talk page of supply and demand. If you're planning on using all the content marked in quotes, then that's definitely not appropriate for an article.

There's already an article on Sonnenschein–Mantel–Debreu theorem that goes into more detail. If you want to find a way to simply link that theorem in the supply and demand article, that might work better. People who want to read more detail would go to that theorem directly. Hope this helps. Clicking "edit" or "edit source" on Draft:Stephen L. Hurst will put you back in the edit screen to make your revisions.

I've made a few of my own edits to your draft. Take a look and change it as necessary. I would recommend steering away from press releases and other sources that are not independent, but I'm sure any feedback you've gotten from others will be helpful as well. Hi there LR.127. First, pleasure to e-meet you. Thank you so much for your reply and the edits you made. With regards to using press releases, I understand and appreciate your concern. I would prefer not to use them, but they do provide some way to corroborate what transpired and often these documents, especially if they're coming from a public company, are notoriously checked to ensure that the claims being made are true in order to ensure they are not sued for misrepresentation. I haven't received any specific feedback so far, which makes 'correcting' this entry difficult. I made two small edits now and I believe it is good to go from my end. Is there anything else I need to do now, or do I wait to hear back? Sorry, but this is very new for me and I'm having a tough time navigating and understanding the next steps. Hi there again. I made some corrections on my article based on the comments I received. The press releases were removed and replaced with government filings and a couple of other of edits were made. I believe it's in the cue to be reviewed, at least I hope that's where it is now. I just wanted to alert you and see if it looked OK. IF there is anything else needed, please let me know. I'm not sure exactly what you mean. Do you want to use your website as a source for the Miss Star International article? If you're using the visual editor (where the edit screen looks similar to the final result), there's an easy Cite button that has support for websites and similar references. Hello,

I am currently focused on adding unofficial/offical town, council, and regional flags to pages within South Australia. Some templates do not have image_flag options, how could I add flags?

Also, many of these images I find are on Reddit, etc., how do I go about uploading these properly onto Commons? I will add that some images have no listed author.

Firstly, if they're unofficial flags, I wonder if that would be useful as the primary image of an article. Also, if they're from Reddit and you can't establish a source, you might not want to upload them. They might also be made up.

Each template might have an alternative way to add a primary image, even if they're not specifically for flags. Without knowing the specific template you want to add a flag to, I can't really help.
