Your submission at Articles for creation: Talmix (December 4)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Theroadislong were:
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of organizations and companies). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Content like "uses data-driven technology to connect talent with businesses across the globe, and unlock the power of the extended workforce to get work done" is entirely marketing puffery and not unacceptable
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Talmix (December 7)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Tagishsimon was:
"premium talent" is marketing speak. This is an encyclopedia, not an advertorial.

"Talmix relies on cutting-edge algorithms". Really? Please don't try to foist what is essentially bullshit on us. This, I repeat, is an encyclopedia. Its articles have a neutral tone. They are not breathlessly promotional.

"Talmix is now considered a key Contingent Workforce Solutions provider for enterprise technology vendors in the Independent Contract Workers category". Kill me now.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Hello Ansgrayson. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Ansgrayson. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Ansgrayson|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Theroadislong (talk) 10:04, 7 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there- I am a financial consultant, I do not work for a recruitment company? These are two completely different things. I am a freelancer who gets connected to work, and the shift to remote work has opened up new opportunities for freelancers across the world to find better opportunities than we were able to before - this is a really important topic right now.

The comment the reviewer left was:
The tone is still inappropriately promotional. "connects businesses to talent across the globe"; "a wider marketplace for premium talent"; "its global talent network" etc.... this reads like a press release, not like a neutral encyclopedia article.

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by HighKing was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of organizations and companies). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
The topic is about an organization therefore must meet WP:NCORP guidelines. NCORP requires (at least) two references that contain *both* in-depth information *about* the *organization* and "Independent Content" (see WP:ORGIND for explanation). Notability is not determined by the volume of references, but the quality, so adding more references relying on announcements, interviews, etc, doesn't help when assessing the criteria for notability. None of the references in the article meet the criteria, as they are either mentions-in-passing (e.g. Harvard Business School report) or rely on announcements or interviews or information provided by the company.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Rusalkii was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of organizations and companies). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
I do not see substantial coverage in the single new source. When you submit next, please leave a comment indicating the best WP:THREE sources - each should, as HighKing said, be independent and have significant coverage of the company.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.
