"Unang Kilig" (transl. First Smitten) is a upcoming song by the Filipino girl group Bini. The song is scheduled to be released on March 5, 2026, through Star Music. It was written and produced by Jeremy G. The song has been described as bubblegum pop and city pop.
Background
[edit]On February 6, 2026, Bini performed "Halukay Ube", originally by the Filipino girl group SexBomb Girls during their reunion concert at the Mall of Asia Arena.[1] They also performed two songs which is "Salamin, Salamin" (lit. 'Mirror, Mirror') and "Pantropiko" (lit. 'Tropical').[2] On February 9, they also performed at the Wonderful Moments Music Festival held at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City. During the festival, they performed "Bikini", "Lagi"(lit. 'Always'), and "Salamin, Salamin".[3] On February 14, Valentine's Day, Bini held an event titled Kiligan Fest at the Midtown Atrium of Robinsons Manila. The show was exclusive of 88 Blooms who signed up for the event.[4] The event hosted by Jeremy G and Milo Elmido Jr.. Pre-show performers included Wrive, Bryan Chong, and 1621. Attendance was estimated at 13,856.[5] During the event, Bini announced their song "Unang Kilig" (transl. First Smitten), scheduled to be released on March 5, 2026.[6]
Composition
[edit]"Unang Kilig" was written and produced by Jeremy G.[5] The song has been described as upbeat bubblegum pop and city pop.[5] It also written with Tagalog lyrics.[6]
