Hoax tamplate
[edit]Is it possible to make one template stand out? For example, the hoax tag on the article KCBS pentagram is not very visible. I tried moving it outside to display the more noticeable warning (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=KCBS_pentagram&oldid=1306175873 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Christian75 (talk • contribs) 18:41, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
- The whole point of this template is to avoid banner overload. It may be better to spend a couple of minutes to resolve the existing tags. – Jonesey95 (talk) 15:56, 21 August 2025 (UTC)
- I understand why we have this template, but the hoax warning is on another level than 'lead too short' and stuff like that. As a reader, I want to be warned, and I guess normal readers (like me) ignore all the clutter at the top." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Christian75 (talk • contribs) 05:13, 22 August 2025 (UTC)
- Please sign your posts using ~~~~. I guess I disagree with emphasizing the hoax template, especially using this article as an example. It was clearly not a hoax. The article that describes that concept is apparently cited in over 300 journal articles, so if it is a hoax, it is a hoax referred to by many sources. Putting extra emphasis on the hoax template instead of resolving the issue with a minute's research doesn't seem like a good idea to me.
- If an article has multiple issues, different editors will have opinions about the importance of each issue. This template flattens all of them to avoid arguments. That helps editors focus on the content rather than the tagging. – Jonesey95 (talk) 12:41, 22 August 2025 (UTC)

"No issues specified. Please specify issues, or remove this template. "
[edit]Currently when the template is not wrapped around anything it says: No issues specified. Please specify issues, or remove this template.
It would be better if it just didn't display anything in that case, and then we can have a bot clean em up. Polygnotus (talk) 13:19, 3 September 2025 (UTC)

- To editor chickenpox4dinner: I'm okay with this, and you are advised that categories are added to the bottom of the /doc page, which is unprotected in this case. Feel free to make the edit yourself. If you run into trouble, let me know. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. – welcome! – 20:37, 31 December 2025 (UTC)

I am looking at adding this information to the Marketing Strategy section as the awards for the campaign are missing even though the performance is listed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Homebisquit (talk • contribs) 21:47, 21 January 2026 (UTC)

[edit]In Q4 2024, the game ran a campaign featuring actor Antony Starr. According to Theorycraft Marketing, the campaign included 20 video commercials filmed in Los Angeles.[1] The campaign received a Gold award at the 2025 NYX Game Awards, with credits listing Theorycraft Marketing and Evolve Media among the contributors.[2]
