Vanilla Car
- ... that Vanilla did not use flashy design on Vanilla Cars in Kyoto because they do not want to "ruin the unique scenery of Kyoto"?

- First, I cannot find the song lyrics in Music Natalie source, so it will need to be swapped for another source to confirm the lyrics.
- Second, the article needs to specify what a "night leisure job" is. From what I can gather, it's prostitution.
- Third, some sources, such as Daily Sports, WalkerPlus, and Smart Flash apparently do not have "about us" sections or a policy of independence. I'm concerned that we're citing the Japanese equivalent of The Sun. Are these newspapers of record?
- Fourth, the hook should be clear that there's one Vanilla Car in Kyoto, not multiple.
- Fifth, the capitalization of "Vanilla Car" needs to be consistent in the article.
- Thanks for the review @Bremps:, here is some of response.
- 1. The source is in the second paragraph of the source
- 2. I think this is a bit of an WP:OR, as base on this, it can mean from prostitution to Clubs. For base on the Japanese wikipedia (base on an unsourced statement), it is a sex-related club.
- 3. Daily Sports is a sister publication of Kobe Shimbun. (You can see
神戸新聞NEXT
at the footer). Walkerplus is owned and published by Kadokawa Group, who also publishes reliable sources such as ASCII Media Works. Smart Flash on another hand is a little bit complicated, this is a Japanese weekly so WP:SHUKANSHI may apply but this is not a WP:BLP, so it may be usable? - 4. I already pluralized it, is that enough? I'll add "various" if not.
- 5. Done
- I hope this answers some of your question. Warm Regards, Miminity (Talk?) (me contribs) 01:30, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
- 1. Great, I see it
- 2. If you really really can't find sources, it's fine, but are you certain there aren't any sources specifying exactly what the Vanilla company does? It seems like a prominent company.
- 3. It's not contentious info, so I guess it's alright
- 4. The new hooks work, but see below
- 5. Great
- It's not that the hooks are outright unacceptable, but could you maybe try something with the legal aspect or try paraphrasing the quote? As they stand they're slightly awkward. Bremps... 02:34, 15 February 2026 (UTC)
- @Bremps:: Here is a possible hooks
- ALT2...that a mobile billboard for a nighttime leisure company in Japan was described as "a part of everyday life"? Source
- ALT3 ... that the design for the Vanilla Cars in Kyoto was based on townhouses of Kyoto? Source
- ALT4 ... that Vanilla Cars includes trucks and buses? Source
- That last one is a "quirky hook". Warm Regards, Miminity (Talk?) (me contribs) 07:48, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
Approving a rephrased ALT1 (change tense), ALT2, and ALT3. Bremps... 15:42, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
- @Bremps and Miminity: Maybe it's just me, but I find the approved hooks less than interesting, which is a shame, since the topic is absolutely fascinating. Let's avoid the euphemisms ("nighttime leisure company") and talk about what this really is, and that will be a very successful hook. I also like ALT0, but it is worded all wrong.
