NNot Done: The article is in British English. The proposed changes seem to be attempting to impose a non-British diction and use of punctuation on the article. Gosh. British and American people (for example) often stress different words and phrases in a sentence, so things sound different and are accordingly often punctuated differently. Brits may feel comfortable with relatively little punctuation in some sentences ("For most trees the ...") where other variants of English would want to punctuate; conversely, we may use appositional phrases with paired commas that may seem unfamiliar to some folks ("Caesar, the Roman soldier and ruler, wrote that ...").
