POV
[edit]Although I personally agree completely with what is being said here, I must admit that the wording is a little too POV for Wikipedia:

Pretentious pseudo-intellectualism, poetry and POV. While I agree to some extent with the POV, the language and tone is unacceptable for an encyclopedia. --217.153.176.154 13:01, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
There's no proof that the ELN, Hezbollah, etc etc traffic drugs. If there is, source it.

Needs Organization, Focus and Objectivity
[edit]This article seems to be a collection of random thoughts from contributors who are looking to vent their emotions on the subject. Encyclopedia articles are not supposed to be about the personal opinions and emotions of the authors. Encyclopedia articles are supposed to explain, illustrate and provide relevant facts. Furthermore, the information incorporated into the article needs to conform to a logical outline.--Motorsportsmark 23:00, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
Corrections
[edit]The encyclopedic information provided by wikipedia gives insight into a variety if not countless number of topics. We all know that. Despite the logic, the supreme logic, the readers hardly get the clear understanding that they initially sought. And, in some instances, especially when one has experienced, felt and analyzed, the person approaching this intellectual source leaves with the sense that once again people continue to make an artless parody of history. If not a farce, then they feel the pove
Regionalism and Propaganda
[edit]This should be an interesting article, although it is not finished. It goes into some detail regarding the Western hemisphere while not including much on the Eastern.
Part of the interesting nature of the term "narcoterrorism" is barely hinted at in the article: its politicization. For example if groups were using cocaine profits to fund repressive regimes that employed execution-style murderers of political opponents outside of any functioning legal system, then for example the USA might be defined as "narcoterrorist" but not often in the mainstream U.S. business press. Similar agreements in the Peoples Republic of China or former Soviet states, between narcotics traffickers and and authoritarians might conceivably exist, and also be proscribed from accurate mention. Similarly, differing and politicized views of Afghani opium production might be significant in the meaning of the term "narcoterrorism."
Unsourced sections and possible original research
[edit]There are a lot of unsourced sections, which makes me think that this article is filled with original research. I'll put a tag on the article so this is brought to greater attention. I'm open to work with any editors to help improve this, but I probably don't have to time to tackle the problems on my own right now. MX (✉ • ✎) 00:14, 21 July 2017 (UTC)
hezbollah
[edit]The source for the claims about Hezbollah is the Israeli government/an Israeli "think tank" on a long dead link. Really? This is reputable enough for wikipedia? 97.70.162.81 (talk) 07:49, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
PKK
[edit]"The terror group reaps over $1.5 billion annually from its control over some 80% of the European illicit drug market, according to figures provided by Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu in an evaluation in 2018" Is the Turkish Interior Ministry a good enough source for this claim? This could be Turkish propaganda because of their long lasting feud with the kurd movement? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mimersson (talk • contribs) 08:15, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
