Proposed addition to “Medical imaging in the cloud” (COI edit request) - December 12, 2025
[edit]Proposed addition to “Medical imaging in the cloud” (COI edit request)
[edit]Hello, I have a conflict of interest as an employee of Truveta and therefore will not edit the article directly. I am requesting an independent editor’s review.
I propose adding one neutral, sourced sentence noting that cloud-based infrastructure is also used for aggregating large-scale real-world clinical datasets that include imaging-related information. This aligns with the section’s existing discussion of cloud use in storage, workflow, and large-scale data management.
Proposed sentence:
Cloud-based platforms are also used to aggregate large, de-identified clinical datasets—including imaging-derived information—from multiple health systems for observational research; for example, independent reporting has described Truveta as a consortium of U.S. health systems that provides de-identified electronic health record data for medical research.[1]
Notes:
- The added content avoids promotional language and simply contextualizes how cloud infrastructure is used in research settings.
- The citation is an independent news report (GeekWire), not a press release or company-provided source.
Thank you for your consideration.
