A majority of this article appears to have been copied from the university's website; therefore, I have tagged it as a copyvio for further investigation. --Kinu t/c 20:49, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

True, but I do have permission from the copyright holder to use the the content on the University website. I will try to get them to send an email explicitly granting CC-BY-SA and GFDL licenses to the content in their website to permissions-en at wikimedia dot org. I am the Webmaster of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. I gave Kwame.nkansah the permission to use the text from the university's website. I have also sent an email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org granting permissions under the free license Creative Commons Attribution-Sharealike 3.0 Unported License (CC-BY-SA) and the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) for the use of text from the university website. Article is out of date

The article about KNUST is out of date. There were significant changes in leadership (new Provosts) and in structure (abolishing Faculties at some colleges), newer than 2008 cut of points etc. Somebody with time should please add the new information.

Awards and Competitions

The university has a rich history in the arena of competitions especially in the arena of Science and also debate . The university's debate team continues to place the university on the global map by winning intellectual laurels. Most recently, they won the pan African university debate championship held in University of Dar Es Salam Tanzania. Boakye320 (talk) 23:35, 15 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal: Separate article for KNUST SRC

Hello,

I would like to propose that the KNUST Students' Representative Council have a separate Wikipedia article, instead of being redirected here. The SRC is a constitutionally recognized student governance body with a long history, annual elections, public engagements, and documented media coverage (Joy FM, GhanaWeb, etc.).

I am currently working on an improved version of the article in my user sandbox with references and neutral language. I believe it meets the notability criteria for student organizations.

I welcome any feedback or concerns from other editors.
