The content of Blueback Shad was merged into Blueback herring on 2014-03-26. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists. For the discussion at that location, see its talk page.
This is a great start for a fish article, thanks to Dwmeadows. An illustration would be nice. I found some great illustrations of North American fish here (including a Blueback herring). They seem open to use of the images with permission. I'm not sure how big a hassle that would be (or perhaps others at Wikipedia has already gotten permission for these images?) but it might be worth looking into.
