Stella Li is a Chinese auto executive,[1][2][3] best known for her work for the Chinese automaker BYD, in which she played a role in marketing the company's products to Western Europe.
An early employee of the carmaker, Stella Li was responsible for ensuring the company acquired a crucial battery-supply contract with Nokia in the late 1990s. At the time, Nokia was the world's largest mobile phone manufacturer.[citation needed]
Since then, Stella has served as executive vice-president of the company under its founder Wang Chuanfu.
