Mainul Ahsan Noble (born 7 November 1997), also known as Nobel Man, is a Bangladeshi singer and songwriter. He rose to prominence after participating in the Indian music reality television competition Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Bangla in 2018.[1][2]

Early life

Noble was born in Gopalganj, Bangladesh, to Mozzafar H. Nannu and Nazma Hossain. He spent parts of his childhood in Dhaka and Khulna and later lived in Darjeeling, India.[3]

Career

Noble gained recognition through his performances in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Bangla, which brought him popularity among audiences in Bangladesh and eastern India.

Following the competition, he performed in concerts and released independent music. He later made his playback singing debut in the Bangladeshi film Mukhosh.[4]

Personal life

Noble married Mehruba Salsabil on 15 November 2019. The couple divorced in 2023.[5]

In 2025, several media outlets reported that Noble married Israt Jahan Priya.[6]

Controversies and public criticism

Stage performance incident

In 2023, Noble performed at a college cultural event in Kurigram where he reportedly appeared on stage in an intoxicated condition, drawing public criticism.[7]

Remarks regarding Amar Sonar Bangla

In 2019, Noble made public remarks comparing the Bangladeshi national anthem Amar Sonar Bangla with another song. The comments generated public debate and criticism and were widely reported in the media.[8]

2023 fraud case

In 2023, Noble was named in a fraud case following allegations that he accepted payment for a performance but failed to attend. He was later released on bail.[9]

2025 arrest

In May 2025, Noble was arrested in connection with allegations of violence against a woman.[10][11]

He was later sent to jail following court proceedings.[12]

Police later stated that investigations remained ongoing despite later personal developments between the parties involved.[13]

He was later granted bail by the court.[14]

2026 arrest

In February 2026, Noble was again arrested in Narayanganj following a court-issued warrant in a case filed in August 2025. According to police statements reported in the media, the complaint alleged that he detained a woman after promising marriage and pressured her to produce objectionable images.[15][16][17]

Police said he was taken into custody in Siddhirganj and would be produced before court following legal procedures. As of the latest reports, no conviction had been recorded.[18]
