Adam Lablack is a film director, producer, actor, screenwriter and novelist known for Phantom, Football Empire, DZ, and Behind Her Masks.[1]
Career
[edit]Adam Lablack created the production company LFR Films in 2011, and started by producing the film Beyond The Blood, nominated for a Lumière Award for Best First Film in 2014.
His writing career starts with the French show DZ in 2022, in which he also starred, and for which he won the Best Screenplay Award at the Festival Tulipani di Seta Nera in Roma. He also released two novels: Football Empire in 2024, and Phantom in 2025, both published by La Maison Lis in France.
He stepped into the director's seat in 2025 with the documentary Behind Her Masks, a feature-length film that explores photographer Daphne Youree's life story through her art series Memory Masks.
