The Abra Solid North Weavers are a Filipino professional basketball team based in the province of Abra. The team has competed in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) as a member of the league's North Division.[1] The team plays its home games at the Gov. Andres Bernos Memorial Gym. The Weavers are the only team based in the Cordillera Administrative Region and are one of three teams based in Northern Luzon.
History
[edit]After falling in the quarterfinals in their first year, the Abra Solid North Weavers won the MPBL national championship in 2025.[2] The Weavers dominated with a three-game sweep in the best-of-five finals against the Quezon Huskers.[3] They also set a league record with a 36-game winning streak.[3]

Awards
[edit]In 2025, Dave Ildefonso who plays guard/forward was the unanimous choice for season MVP, while Jason Brickman was finals MVP.[4][5] Yong Garcia was Coach of the Year.[1]
