2026 United States Senate election in Mississippi
The 2026 United States Senate election in Mississippi will be held on November 3, 2026, to elect a member of the United States Senate to represent the state of Mississippi , as well as other elections to the United States Senate, elections to the United States House of Representatives and various state and local elections .[ 1] A runoff election will be held December 1, 2026 if no candidate gets majority on November 3. Primary elections will be held on March 10, 2026, with runoff elections on April 7, 2026 if no candidate gets a majority.
One-term Republican Cindy Hyde-Smith was reelected in 2020 with 54.1% of the vote after being appointed in 2018 and subsequently winning a special election that same year. She is running for a second full term in office.
