The 2026 Islington London Borough Council election will take place on 7 May 2026.[2] All 51 members of Islington London Borough Council will be elected. The elections will take place alongside local elections in the other London boroughs and elections to local authorities across the United Kingdom.[3]
Background
[edit]Labour held control of the council in 2022. In 2026, councillor Sara Hyde was appointed to the House of Lords.[4]
