I stopped using Template:Babel list of languages and the templates that it calls. Those are necessary at Commons because pages in multiple languages must transclude the same information. English Wikibooks only has an English page, so the templates are not necessary here. --Kernigh 21:16, 3 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have drafted a proposal for an interproject Babel template standard at meta:Interproject Babel template standardization (proposal). Please review the proposal and improve and/or comment on it. —Ilmari Karonen 17:38, 17 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

What's the code for the Finnish language?

[edit source]

I tried using fi-1 and fin-1 for level 1 Finnish, but these do not display properly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nov ialiste (discusscontribs) 18:46, 15 May 2006

Here at English Wikibooks, we did not have any Finnish Babel templates. I just now finished copying four of them (fi-1, fi-2, fi-3, fi) from Commons:Babel. They should work now; please do edit and fix them if necessary.
Also, I did not feel like creating four empty categories, so the categories remain redlinks until someone creates and categorises them. --Kernigh 22:18, 15 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
