Old and New versus Old and Young

[edit source]

I think this might need work, as I am aware of Ancien/Nouveau versus Vieux/Jeune but here we seem to mix people with things?? Coupe (discusscontribs) 18:26, 30 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Maybe just move this old/new thing to grammar?? Coupe (discusscontribs) 18:30, 30 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Well, I don't see a problem really. This section is just giving a few common examples of adjectives that can precede the noun, and the effect that has on the partitive article. The variety of examples does not affect the grammar, and it is labelled as a grammar section, which is not unusual in a lesson. There is obviously a lot more that could be said about the position of adjectives (my grammar reference has seven and a half pages on the subject), but this is only a level one lesson so we wouldn't want to put all that here.
