you guys choose what I read

what could go wrong!

A few weeks ago (if you’re being generous), I approached Instagram and Goodreads with a simple question:

If you could choose my next read, what would it be?

I thought it would be a fun idea, and you would have some mind-meld moments and some out-there options but there would be a general consensus around 5 books or so, perfect for a little post.

I could not have been more wrong.

I got over 200 recommendations and only 12 repeated at all, a few of which I have never heard of in my life. No book got more than 2 votes. And I read one of them already. (26 of the submitted requests were books I actually have read, so. Stay tuned till the end for bonus content!)
