The master's degree program in Electrical Engineering provides advanced preparation for professional practice through a highly customizable, coursework-based curriculum.

Joint Degree Programs

Joint degree programs enable students to pursue two degrees simultaneously. The Department of Electrical Engineering offers an MS in Electrical Engineering/MBA Degree Program (MS/MBA) and a Juris Doctor/MS in Electrical Engineering Degree Program (JD/MS).

Part-Time MS

The Honors Cooperative Program (HCP) enables qualified working professionals to pursue the MS in Electrical Engineering on a part-time basis. Many classes are offered online, and it is possible to complete the MS degree requirements entirely from a distance.

Non-Degree Option

Non-Degree Option

The Non-Degree Option (NDO) makes it possible for qualified working professionals to enroll in Stanford graduate-level classes on a course-by-course basis.

Coterminal Program

The coterminal degree program allows Stanford undergraduate students to pursue the Master of Science in Electrical Engineering while completing their undergraduate program.
