The State Office of Vital Records provides several options for you to order birth and death records online. Please see a list of approved third party and state approved vendors below. 

The following options are available for requesting a vital record: 

ROVER (State of Georgia)   

  • ROVER offers an expedited shipping option through FedEx. When you choose this option, your order will be shipped via FedEx instead of standard USPS mail and will include a tracking number so you can follow your shipment every step of the way.
  • Please note that expedited shipping applies only to delivery time and does not reduce the standard processing time, which is up to 10 weeks. Processing times may also be affected by weekends, holidays, or office closures.
  • Note:
  • The expedited shipping fee is $16 per order and is available for birth and death certificate requests only.

GO Certificates (Third Party Vendor) 

  • Go Certificates offers an expedited shipping option through FedEx. When you choose this option, your order will be shipped via FedEx instead of standard USPS mail and will include a tracking number so you can follow your shipment every step of the way.

VitalChek  (Third Party Vendor)

  • Order online with your major credit card.
  • Standard requests are mailed within 8-10 weeks.
  • Expedited orders are received and confirmed 24 hours after they are placed. Processing takes approximately 5 business days from the time the order is received. Once processing is complete, orders will then be shipped. *Please keep in mind that these timeframes do not include weekends, holidays, or office closures.
  • Regular orders will be shipped within 10 weeks.
  • A surcharge and expedite fee applies for credit card payments. Only birth and death certificates are available.
