This beginner tutorial will lead you through the process of update a WPCasa premium (paid) theme. What we need in order to start with the update of the theme on a self-hosted WordPress installation.
Why to update manually?
Normally, it’s not necessary to manually update a WPCasa theme. Updates are usually done via the WordPress update function.

For several reasons, it may sometimes be necessary to perform the update manually. For example, if WordPress cannot reach the update server or if the installed version is too old to update to the new version automatically.
Download Theme Package
After your purchase of a WPCasa premium theme you will find the download option in your WPCasa account daschboard. You can go to your account on our website to download the theme package to your local computer.
Upload Theme
Now you need to enter the admin of your WordPress installation and go to WP-Admin > Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme and browse to the theme package on your local computer and click on Install Now.

Once the upload started you will receive a notification that WordPress will replace your installed theme with the uploaded version. Click on Replace installed with uploaded.
Once the upload is complete, you will be redirected to the theme page where you can check your theme version.
