Open Banking can be enabled on your account in MITE. We use a third party system to simulate the online banking process.
When an Open Banking payment is created you will be provided with a link to the Tink Sandbox to complete the payment.
When visiting the link you will prompted to select a bank to use for the test transaction. The Tink Demo Bank is the only bank available and can be used for testing.
- Handoff – which will provide a QR to scan so the payment can be completed on a mobile device
- Redirect – which will redirect you directly to a payment page where you can complete the payment
Note that the ‘Sign In method’ selection is only applicable for testing in the Sandbox environment and will not be shown in production.

To simulate a successful payment, select the test bank account and then click ‘Confirm’ to complete the payment. You will be redirected back to the return URL provided in the initial request.
To simulate a cancelled payment, select the test bank account and the click ‘Cancel’.
