Apple Music: Uploaded classical movements play in reverse after Tahoe

I have Apple Music, but I also have a lot of classical music that I (long ago) ripped and uploaded via iTunes Match. I listed the movements of a symphony (for example) as a group, so that they would play together even when shuffling. Starting with Tahoe, they still play together...but in reverse order! I've checked the track numbers, and they are all as they should be. Ideas most welcome...

Apple Music Playing Tracks in River Order:

A. Backing Up First:

Did you ever Backup your Mac prior to this upgrade? If not, take this as a learning experience, knowing to always create a Time Machine Backup prior to making any major changes(i.e. installations, uninstalltions, and reinstalations, and backups), whatsoever. That way, you can have something to restore your Mac from, should anything go wrong during or after the change.

B. Add Back your Entire Library:

Being these are all home media, and locally store, export your Library (all playlists) > and then import it back.

  1. Go Here: Save a Copy of a Playlist in Music on Mac - Apple Support
  2. As it Reads: Save a copy of all your playlists: Choose File > Library > Export Library. The exported information is saved in XML format.

"Thanks, but a) I did a backup, and b) while this is annoying it is not worth refusing the upgrade for."

Upgrading your Apple Music Subscription:

You mentioned nothing of refusal to upgrade (upgrade what?)?. You're not going to even the service of Tunes Match, if you don't even have a subscription. You can keep the subscription, as long as you obey the Terms & Conditions. So, if things seem to be not the way the way they should be, then you you fix this sync issue.

So, Inform Apple of this Bug:

Do your Part. Give Apple feedback on this. Apple won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what issues are occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of your findings, if you don't report it to them.

How to Give Feedback:

  1. Go Here: Feedback - Apple Music - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for "Feedback Type"
  3. Select: "Browse" for "What Apple Music feature is your feedback about?"
  4. Comment: that this all began after installing an update, and how you have troubleshoot it this far. Include the URL of this thread.
  5. Proceed from there as necessary
