Reduce number of steps in Assistive access

Is there a way of reducing the number of steps/taps to get to contacts when in Assistive Access mode? On an iphone XR i counted 5 screen taps to get to a specific contact page.

I guess the alternative is to setup Siri in Assitive Access

thanks

You may have added the Contacts app to Assistive Access, or you may be

exiting Assistive Access in order to use the Contacts app. The choice seems to be yours.

We wonder too, which iOS version is in use on the iPhone XR.

Eg: iOS 18.7.1 is the latest update for iPhone XR.

"This update provides important security fixes and is recommended for all users."

If you want: You can check for updates in Settings > General > Software Updates.

(It is wise to back-up iPhone first, if you decid to update th iOS version)

Wondering if you have added the most frequently used contacts to Favorites for easy access?

Else:

Apple Support's online article (link below) may help you check if you can customize the contacts app: Add, remove, and customize apps for Assistive Access on iPhone - Apple Support

Eg: Says you can:

Change options for apps in Assistive Access

  1. Exit Assistive Access if it’s active.
  2. Go to Settings  > Accessibility > Assistive Access, then tap the name of the app. (Contacts)
  3. Choose options for the app.
