Ahead of the arrival of Season 2, Netflix has renewed My Life with the Walter Boys for a third season.
Based on the book by Ali Novak, the YA series follows Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez) as she moves in with her late mother’s best friend Katherine (Sarah Rafferty) who has nine sons and one daughter.
After Season 1 arrived at the end of 2023, Netflix swiftly renewed the Western series for a second season, which has wrapped production in Calgary, Canada.

In the show and in the book, Jackie becomes torn between Alex and Cole Walter, two very different brothers.
Season 2 added five recurring cast members to the fold — Natalie Sharp (Wilderness), Carson MacCormac (Shazam!), Janet Kidder (Star Trek: Discovery), Riele Downs (Bel-Air) and Jake Manley (The Order).
Novak recently wrote a sequel, My Return to the Walter Boys, but the book didn’t have much bearing on the production of Season 2.
