More Bridgerton siblings will have their love stories told. Netflix‘s hit Regency-era drama has received another two-season renewal, this time for Seasons 5 and 6. The pickup was announced at the streamer’s upfront presentation. No details have been provided but all signs point to the new installments focusing on Francesca (Hannah Dodd), whose love journey began in Season 3, and Eloise (Claudia Jessie), who has been a central character from Season 1, patiently awaiting her turn.
Per Bridgerton tradition, Lady Whistledown shared the renewal news in a special edition of her society pamphlet, which you can see below.
Additionally, Netflix today announced that the upcoming fourth season of Bridgerton, which centers on Benedict (Luke Thompson), the bohemian second son, will debut in 2026. The timing follows the current cadence of the period drama releasing a new season every other year. The streamer already all but confirmed the season’s 2026 return by not including the title on its list of 2025 releases.

After previously putting out Season 4 photos and behind-the-scene footage, Netflix has now shared a clip of the Season 4 couple’s first encounter. You can watch it below.
In the eight-episode new season, unwilling to settle down like his brothers, Benedict’s perspective changes when he encounters a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.
A pandemic phenomenon when it launched in December 2020, Bridgerton has become one of Netflix’s biggest series as well as a commercial enterprise with product and event lines. The previous three seasons and prequel Queen Charlotte all have featured on the streamer’s list of the most watched English-language series of all time, with Season 1 and 3 still on at #5 and #7, respectively.
Showrunner Jess Brownell executive produces with Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, Tom Verica, and Chris Van Dusen.
