New specialty coffee shop and roastery opens in Calgary
It’s very much coffee season, and Calgary just got a new specialty coffee shop.
After launching in 2021, Paradigm Spark, a Calgary-based specialty coffee roaster, became a favourite for coffee lovers in the city through a series of long-term pop-ups at various locations. But now, the team has just opened its first standalone location at 422 11th Ave. SE.
From its new location, Paradigm Spark has a main bar, which offers familiar beverages such as drip coffee and Original Creation drinks as well as snacks from its kitchen and baked goods from local partners.

The space also includes an experience bar, with single-origin pour-overs and premium teas, allowing guests to explore the world of coffee.
As part of its aims, passion for knowledge and sharing this with coffee drinkers, the space also has a training room and a roasting room.
For those looking to expand their coffee knowledge. Paradigm Spark will be offering classes in the art of brewing, preparing espresso and latte art with differing experience levels.
