Hello Mike Peel, this is Saimmx from zhwp. I am currently checking the information of File:Map of Manchester 1801.PNG - while the image looks like a public domain, I am not very sure because it lacks source and author. Since And-Rew (Joshii later), the original uploader, might not been there for decades, and you uploaded the image to the Commons, can you help me to check the image's information? Thank you. - @Saimmx: That took a bit of digging, but I'm fairly sure it's this one - actually from 1807 by J. Roper. The original's surely out of copyright by quite some time. It looks like the colouring is later, but that wouldn't add new copyright, I think? Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 08:45, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
