About me

I joined the Wikimedia Foundation because I think that knowledge is the key to independence and I believe every person has a birth given right to fulfill themselves. I feel the Wikimedia movement is unique it it's ability to make a clear and sizable impact.

My background is in resource management, partnership development and social impact consulting in the social sector in Israel and abroad. Before joining WMF, I worked at MAOZ, an Israeli organization dealing with strengthening Israel's socio-economic resilience, and previously to that I worked for 5 years at Wikimedia Israel where I was a projects and finance coordinator. I hold an MPA and a BA in government, diplomacy and strategy from the Reichman University (IDC).

I currently live in Pittsburgh, US. I love cooking (and eating!), I drum as a hobby (not great at it - but still really enjoy it!) and love to tell people I used to do Thai boxing (even though I haven't done it in years).

My work

I joined the Wikimedia Foundation in November 2018, and managed the Conference and Event Fund Program for 7 years until 2025. Starting July 2025, I am the manager of the Community Operations team. Our work is focusing on supporting the work of the regional program officers (Community Resources team); the different volunteer committees and the regional funding committees around the world, to ensure we are delivering impactful, mission-aligned resource distribution.
