This was tested on FreeBSD 15.1-RELEASE-p1 on amd64.

OpenBSD man pages were carefully read, but this was not tested to compile on OpenBSD due to a lack of access (and willingness to set up QEMU on mac) but i think its fine seeing as its a one-line call with simple semantics (e.g no errors etc). The unistd.h header contains the getthrid function which is already present in the file so i dont think we need anything else.
