Jamison Pastures will host a holiday vendor event this Sunday, offering families a chance to shop, explore the farm and take part in seasonal activities.
Owner Meadow Rain Jamison said visitors can expect “over 25 different vendors,” along with access to the farm’s holistic store, which carries more than 300 products ranging from wellness items to farm-fresh goods. Vendors will offer handmade ornaments and décor, baked goods, sweets, on-site T-shirt pressing, children’s ornament-making, and “stuff and fluff” – a build-a-bear-style activity.
For families, several activities are planned throughout the afternoon. “The playground will be open, and the petting zoo will be available for an entry fee,” Jamison said. Goat yoga sessions will be held at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. for $20 per person. Live music is scheduled from 1:30 to 4 p.m., and Santa will visit from 3:30 to 6 p.m.
Jamison Pastures is operated by Jamison, a veteran and certified herbalist, along with her three homeschooled sons. Together they manage “over 100 animals” across the farm’s 40 acres. “It’s like a homestead on steroids,” she said. “Everything that I make and provide my family is just created in a slightly larger batch to also offer to the community.”
She added that supporting local makers is a key part of the farm’s mission. “We’re strong believers that communities should come together to support each other,” Jamison said. “We partner with other small businesses to help the community feel their best.”
As for what she’s most looking forward to, Jamison said it’s the chance to reach more neighbors. “The more people that know about us, the more people that we can help.”
The Holiday Vendor Event will take place Sunday at Jamison Pastures, 781 Wolfe Road, Columbus.
