I've put together this massive collection of our guys singing acapella from 1993 - 2012.

It shows all the guys singing ability with an almost fair share of leads ( Brian has more than any other guy ). It shows that they can sing impromptu acapella whereas many groups have a song that they've rehearsed ready to go if asked in interviews and sometimes groups refuse to sing as they haven't prepared It also shows the guys working out harmonies and most importantly and perhaps surprisingly it shows that there has not been one year where the guys haven't sung at least one song acapella. Hope you all enjoy and let this be your go to video for people that say they can't sing

I also marvel at how in "If I Ever Fall In Love" from 1994 they all seem to be in separate places in the hall yet their harmonies are as tight as if they were all singing into one microphone standing next to each other. It also takes a hell of a lot of discipline as shown in the Sesame Street theme to sing and have each boy talk and then effortlessly go back to singing the harmonies

Ryan Seacrest announced today that Kevin will be joining the boys during a special beach party in the Bahamas (part of their fan cruise)

Kevin mentions that he would like to perform with the boys on a more regular basis.

If there’s strength in numbers, then the NKOTBSB tour is impressive in manpower alone.
When all nine of the dancing, singing, no-longer-boy band members of New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys were on stage at the same time on Friday at Amway Center, it looked like something close to a teen-pop marching band.
If only ‘N Sync could’ve reunited, there would’ve be enough pop stars to spell out Total Request Live, or some other appropriate pop-culture reference.
Even for a cynic, all that well-aged charisma was magical on Friday, though the crowd that almost filled the arena obviously would’ve been smitten by the time-machine vibe no matter what it sounded like.
To borrow from the combined group’s acronym, the audience looked to be Not Kids Or Teens But Still Believers. On this night, that faith was rewarded.
The ambitious scope of the production was foreshadowed in an epic opener that melded New Kids’ “Single,” Backstreet’s “The One” and Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” into a sonic and visual feast.
With all the Backstreet Boys (Nick Carter, A.J. McLean, Brian Littrell and Howie Dorough) on stage with the five New Kids (Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood and Donnie Wahlberg), it was a crowd. Still, the choreography was understated, meaning that it only looked slightly like a clinic for male models.
Just kidding.
Actually, both groups looked and sounded impressive in a generous 2-1/2 hour show that unfolded like a battle of the bands, with the groups trading turns in the spotlight.
It was apparent that the New Kids had more of the right stuff, with everything from “Dirty Dancing” to “You Got It (The Right Stuff)” and “Step by Step” eliciting screams that sounded a lot like 1989.
When it came to ballads, McIntyre offered a show-stopping “Please Don’t Go Girl,” which Backstreet countered with the doo-wop-inspired “I’ll Never Break Your Heart,” with the guys joined by ladies from the crowd.
The magic wasn’t quite as potent in Backstreet’s material, but the group had its hometown connection elevate solid versions of “As Long As You Love Me,” “Shape of My Heart,” “I Want It That Way” and other hits.
In another nod to Orlando’s teen-pop roots, the video screen showed a cameo of ‘N Sync’s Joey Fatone in the crowd. Later, that surprise was trumped by a short, superb set by Boyz II Men, joined by the others for “End of the Road.” It was a touch that made the night seem historic.
“It feels so good to be back in Orlando, where it all started for the Backstreet Boys,” said Dorough, who invited his mom on stage.
Opening act Matthew Morrison, known for his Glee role, set the tone for a musical night with a splashy, Vegas-worthy 35 minutes that included dancing, ukulele strumming (!) and fancy footwork in the aptly titled “Don’t Stop Dancing.”
As for the boy-bands, if the grown-up versions can do this, let’s hope they don’t stop either.

Kevin Richardson returns to the LA Staples centre with the Backstreet Boys

After 10 years since the Backstreet Boys performed at the LA Staples Centre with their Black&Blue tour and 5 years since Kevin Richardson departed the group the 5 guys have made a triumphant return as part of their successful NKOTBSB tour.

Kevin Richardson made a very special appearance during I Want It That Way and the finale in which the Backstreet Boys and New Kids On The Block throw it down Battle Of The Bands style.

Needless to say the LA crowd went absolutely crazy when Kevin began his solo part in I Want It That Way.

Naughty By Nature to perform at Tonight's New Jersey NKOTBSB show

As we all know Naughty By Nature made a surprise appearance at the Fenway show and performed Hip Hop Hooray. Story is that they were meant to do a 15 minute show but rain altered those plans so tonight be prepared for a 15 minute set with some O.P.P. no doubt.

The biggest show of their careers has just wrapped up and boy did they hit a home run tonight. OK, i'll spare you the baseball metaphors but wow it was one hell of a show!

With the 9 fellas lining up at home plate and running to the stage for the introductions this outdoor spectacular had it all. Even an introduction from the mayor of Boston and Donnie Wahlberg's own brother Marky Mark (the almost as famous one) couldn't prepare the crowd for the surprise appearance from Naughty By Nature smashing Hip Hop Hooray out of the park (ok sorry, last one I promise) With a "hey" from the Backstreet Boys and a "ho" from the New Kids this once in a lifetime experience left all in attendance with a very special feeling.

The Backstreet Boys worked dance numbers such as “The Call,” “Backstreet’s Back” and “Larger Than Life” as well as ballads including “Incomplete,” “Shape Of My Heart,” and the serenade segement “I’ll Never Break Your Heart,” showcasing excellent harmony work led by A.J. McLean and Nick Carter.

An appearance by Naughty By Nature for “Hip Hop Hooray” sent the show into overdrive, as all of Fenway Park danced in the rain to one of the most memorable hip-hop songs of the ‘90s. It was no surprise when a fan yelled out “I feel like I’m like 13 again!” The entire show mixed nostalgia with a sense of new life for both groups.
