New Jersey native Ayesha Patrick has lived with psoriasis nearly her entire life. In 2020, she was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis after she began noticing nail pitting and a lot of pain and swelling in her joints. Patrick started the Facebook support group “Sistas With Psoriasis.” She is also an advocate and one-to-one mentor with the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF). She works at New Jersey’s Department of Children and Families, and she’s also active with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Her greatest joy in life is being a mom to two incredible children.
