Life with HIV isn’t for the faint of heart. It can feel like you’re under attack from within, while living with scrutiny, judgment, and ridicule from others.
Living with HIV can be all encompassing. Although the basics are pretty much the same, how it all plays out varies a lot, depending on a number of things. It’s rarely discussed how aging factors into your experience with HIV.
It’s difficult to face just how much of your life HIV affects. Although a lot can be overcome and managed over time, that doesn’t make it easier.
With HIV, there are a million things you have to consider and prepare for. A lot of them happen simultaneously. It’s a lot to manage.
Everyone’s experience with HIV is different. But one thing we share is how tricky the journey is to navigate.
