At BKV Energy, we’re all about keeping things simple, transparent, and valuable for our customers. That’s why we’re excited to share a couple of updates to the names of our most popular programs and benefits — changes that reflect what they do more clearly and make it easier for you to get the most out of them.

Premier+ is now BKV Energy Plus

We’re retiring the name Premier+ and replacing it with BKV Energy Plus. Same great benefits, clearer name. If you’re already enrolled, nothing about your experience changes — except the name. You’ll still enjoy all the perks you signed up for, including access to our exclusive loyalty rewards and flexible rate tools.

We just wanted the name to better reflect who’s behind the program (us!) and how it fits into our bigger mission of being the most rewarding electricity provider in Texas.

Blend & Extend is now Reduce Your Rate

Another change: our Blend & Extend benefit is now called Reduce Your Rate. Why? Because that’s exactly what it does.

Reduce Your Rate lets eligible customers take advantage of lower electricity prices — without switching providers or paying cancellation fees. When market rates drop, we’ll notify you with the opportunity to switch to a more affordable plan with a cheaper energy charge, so you can lock in even more savings. Simple as that.

It’s one of the most-loved features of our Bluebonnet plan, and now its name makes the benefit crystal clear.

No action needed

These are name changes only — your benefits, pricing, and terms are staying the same. If you’re a BKV Energy Plus member or enrolled in a Bluebonnet or Bluebonnet Green plan, you’re already enjoying the perks.

We just wanted to make it easier to understand what you’re getting — and to keep delivering electricity service that puts Texans first.
