- Creating Jobs
- Excerpt: "As a business owner, I know what it takes to create jobs because I have done it. My business has grown from my basement to 40 employees. I will work to create a pro-business environment to help small business grow and hire more workers."
- Economic Growth
- Excerpt: "Alabama’s economy can continue to improve by cutting wasteful spending, providing targeted tax incentives, and reducing taxes on small businesses and middle class families. Alabama’s economy will continue to grow when we allow entrepreneurs and business owners to invest in the economy without government interference."
- Vocational Training
- Excerpt: "American manufacturing is what built this country into what it is today. We must have a new generation of skilled tradesmen that make the things we use in everyday life. Providing the funding for vocational training in Alabama is essential. Vocational schools provide opportunities for high school graduates to learn new skills and use those skills to succeed in good-paying jobs in Alabama."
- Education
- Excerpt: "Every parent wants the best education for their children. I will work to provide education funding through cuts in non-essential government programs. Providing proper funding for programs like the Alabama Reading Initiative and Alabama Math, Science and Technology Initiative are possible without a tax increase if the Legislature continues to focus its efforts on reducing wasteful spending and saving taxpayer dollars."
- Protect 2nd Amendment
- Excerpt: "Our 2nd Amendment rights have been under constant attack from President Obama. I will make sure that Alabama has the strongest 2nd Amendment protections in the country and will make sure the Alabama legislature fights any attempt by Obama or his liberal allies to curb our right to keep and bear arms."
- Preserving Conservative Values
- Excerpt: "The attacks on Alabama’s conservative values have been constant from President Obama and the Democrats. I will work with the Legislature to slow down Obamacare and preserve our Second Amendment rights."
