The free demo shows a download button in the lightbox. I now have installed the free version, but the lightbox is not displayed in the lightbox. In the settings it is turned on, but I would need to upgrade to turn it off – at least this is how I understand the UI. Why is the download function not provided in the free-version when your demo shows it?
Of course I mean that the download function/button is not displayed in my installed free version!

At the moment, the Download Button functionality is available only in the PRO version. Unfortunately, it cannot be enabled in the Free version.

Can you show me how I can embed ID Gallery within the code of a page?

I am not sure I understand your request correctly.
You can use the shortcode and insert it in your desired part of the page:
[gallery_p_gallery id=YOUR_GALLERY_ID]
Replace the YOUR_GALLERY_ID with the corresponding Gallery ID.
For example, if the Gallery ID is 1, the shortcode will be like this: [gallery_p_gallery id=1].
If you want to add the shortcode manually into the code, you can add the following line there:
