Chiharu lives in Osaka, Japan, and works remotely for a Tokyo-based digital agency that specializes in WordPress.
Since first joining the WordPress community in 2011, she has been continuously involved for more than 14 years. As an organizer of the Kansai WordPress Meetup, Chiharu has long supported the local community by creating a space where participants can connect and learn from one another.
In my daily work, she is employed at an agency that builds websites using WordPress, where she is responsible for developing solutions that address clients’ needs with care and precision. Kotaro Kitamura is the CEO of Techbridge Inc., based in Osaka, Japan. His company focuses on WordPress site development, maintenance, and security solutions.

He spent over 14 years in corporate sales, serving as a branch manager and working overseas. From 2019 to 2020, he stayed in Mumbai, India, as part of a project to research and launch a new business. During this time, he met talented engineers and startup founders, and experienced advanced web services and applications with beautifully designed, intuitive user interfaces—experiences that inspired him to step into the IT world.

After returning to Japan, he decided to resign from his corporate career and reskill himself in web development.
