The mop of my dreams.
Well, ok, that title might be a little overstated. I do not dream about mops, or any other cleaning supplies for that matter (knock on wood).
I am not usually one for product reviews, or promotion of any kind, but as a stay at home mom with two large shedding dogs, 3 kids and a contractor for a man, my house gets nastyyy super easily. I must give credit where it is due. This…
Is literally the best thing ever. It is $40, and it has 2 different pads available, a wet one and a dry one. I use the wet one for both, I do have the dry one as well, and use it on occasion… But the wet one is better for chunks when dry mopping… (Yes, chunks, see the mention of who lives in my house)
It takes an entire 5 minutes to go over the hard floors in my whole house… I’d say I probably have.. oh 1600+ sq ft of hard floors.. I have ditched my broom and dustpan for almost everything… Except the chunks at the end.
This is similar to a Norwex Mop for literally less than half the price. The pads for this work on the Norwex Mop and vice versa, as I do have a couple of those as well, there isn’t much difference between the two pads, the Norwex ones are thicker, and clean just as well, however, I rinse mine when wet mopping and they are a pain to wring out to keep going so I only use them if the E-Cloth ones are dirty.
If you have a lot of wood floors and pets, you NEED this! I use mine every single day.
You’re welcome 😉
Motherhood at its Finest
Let’s just start out by saying that I have a 4 month old baby boy, a 5 yr old daughter, and a 6 yr old step-daughter. My life is hectic to say the least. It is now summer vacation here, and I have been questioning my life choices (HA!). Stay at home mom problems. Some days there is just not enough coffee to make the world go ’round, and today just happens to be one of those days.
Until Later

What I have read lately?
I just finished Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
You could say I am a little behind in life! 🙂 It was good, as far as the complaints I have heard about the formatting, it was not an issue or deal breaker for me. It was a short and sweet read. For those of you who were expecting a J.K. Rowling length humungo novel, I can see how it would disappoint.

Hello, My Name is Anne, and it has been 8 months since my last blog post….
It is a little bit of an addiction, and I seem to have lost my way. Many things have changed in the last 8 months and one of them is not me. I have always been the same, I don’t change, but everything around me seems to at an alarming rate. Perhaps I am the one who needs to adjust. This is problematic because I am somewhat stuck in my ways. This small town life is clearly not for me. Everyone knows everyone, and not a single secret is safe. I miss being able to hide in a crowd of strangers. Call me rude, but I don’t want to talk to people all the time and put on a happy face just so people don’t pry into my business. I have not gone out to do anything in this town in months, which is the way it will stay. The class of people in this area is about 20-30% well educated, very nice, people. the other 70-80% are nothing but trash that insist on causing drama. No, I do not think I am better than anyone else, but I have risen above so much crap, that I am unbelievably beyond it. I left my past where it was for a reason.
This post is rather dark, but so is my mood today, so it will have to do…

I Finally Did It!!
I took the plunge to quit my day job… Well, night job technically, but no matter. I am not going to state what my job currently is, but rather, it is a job that has repeatedly been not for me. Hopefully by the end of October I will be free. That means an entire whole 36-48 hours dedicated strictly to pursuing my dream each week. I am extremely organized and have a plan laid out to stick to my “Work”. More about that later…..
Series: The Binge and Purge Method
I have a problem.
I read a series until complete, and not remember half of it. I am a binge reader. I will read the series in its entirety, skipping meals, laying in bed, foregoing a night out on the town, etc until it is complete. The problem? All of the books run together, many details are forgotten. I immerse myself into the book, the world, the characters. I remember the people and the places. Small descriptions and details, though necessary for good literature, are completely lost on me. Hence: The Binge and Purge Method.
Just. Keep. Writing.
Great Inspiration.
Hey there, lovelies!
I know it’s been awhile since I posted. I’ve spent the last few months buried under deadlines and finishing up coursework–so far this year I’ve gone to grad school, and written and edited THREE books, all coming out next year–and getting ready to head back to Nashville.
But in the slivers of space between, I’ve been reflecting a lot–about writing, publishing, advice–and I wanted to talk about a piece of advice that I know seems trite, but is honestly the best I can give. I’ll try to explain why.
Five years into my publishing career, I finally feel like I have my feet under me, and because of that, I’m often asked for advice.
When writers–aspiring, debut, and established–ask for insight, I always say, “Just keep writing.”
And I know that sounds like a very Dory thing to say, but the fact of the matter is, if…
