F-15EX deliveries resume following resolution of Boeing Strike

The U.S. Air Force has resumed full production deliveries of F-15EX Eagle II fighter jets following the end of a 105-day strike at Boeing’s St. Louis facility, with the latest aircraft delivered to Portland Air National Guard Base in early December demonstrating a rapid recovery of the production line.

Canada awards Bombardier $546 million contract for six Global 6500

The Canadian government has awarded Bombardier a $546 million contract to deliver six Global 6500 aircraft to the Royal Canadian Air Force, marking one of the first major procurements under the newly established Defence Investment Agency.

B-52 with modernized radar completes ferry flight to Edwards Air Force Base

The first B-52 bomber equipped with an active electronically scanned array radar system has reached Edwards Air Force Base, California, bringing fighter-style radar capabilities to the Air Force’s 65-year-old strategic bomber fleet. Boeing delivered the modified aircraft following installation of the APQ-188 radar system at its San Antonio facility, with the ferry flight completed on Dec. 8.

Sweden confirms Gripen E timeline for Ukraine, considers C/D models as interim solution

Sweden has confirmed it can deliver Gripen E fighter jets to Ukraine within the requested timeline and will establish a joint defense innovation hub with Swedish personnel stationed on Ukrainian soil, Swedish Defense Minister Paul Johnson and Ukrainian Defense Minister Dennis Shimal announced at a press conference in Stockholm on Nov. 6.
