Wowee!!!!
Last nights concert at Birmingham (my first this tour) was awesome. The lights dimmed, music started, thunder and lighting effects began and there was Michael stood at the top of a platform ramp. He looked terrific, and all the apprehension of travelling down not knowing whether Michael would be well enough to perform were dispelled - He was there.
There seemed a different song content again to what has been posted previously. I personally found the first half of the show terrific, and very emotional with a lot of tear jerking songs. I have to admit when he sang my favourite song -Your'e Still The One Tears were flowing -Oh dear I'll have to take more tissues to York!.
I was a little worried the first half as we thought Michael looked very tired, what he did at the intermission I don't know _ he came back on looking brilliant, more relaxed and gave it 150%.-not that he hadn't given it his all in the first half.
The new songs of Michaels are excellant, and Just When is so beatiful. I almost felt I was intruding on Michaels private thoughts and feelings, he performs it with such passion.
The 20 metre sprint to the stage at the beginning of Living la Vida Loca gave us an excellant viewing position for what was to be one of the best 'rock' parts of the show I've been to, finishing on You Made Me Love You.
Oh by the way all this talk of the grills under foot - Michael decided to tell us that when he sits down on it to sing -'that my bum looks like a waffle when I get up.'Oh really cheeky - pardon the pun.
For those who have not been to a show yet you are in for a treat - Micheal is definately on top form the voice is even better if that is possible. |
