Blondie - 02/01/1946
CHIC YOUNG (1901 - 1973) created several comic strips including The Affairs of Jane, Dumb Dora, Beautiful Bab, and The Family Foursome, but of course he is internationally known as the creator of Blondie, the long-running strip which he first drew in 1930. Blondie has been adapted to stage, screen, and television, and is still being published today.

History: All the comic art we sold on eBay came from a private collection of a gentleman who knew all the players in the 30's, 40's, and fifties. We listed rare gem of a personally inscribed piece of Alex Raymond (RiP Kirby), freckles and his friend; Wash tubs 2 strips; This and the others you were bidding have been in the private collection until his recent death of a gentleman whose passion was comic art until his passing. These pieces are made available by the executor of the will of this gentleman. His wishes were; they were to be available solely to those individuals that appreciated this form of art.
