I am an undergrad student at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India, pursuing my major in Electronics and Instrumentation. I have a strong background in machine learning and core concepts in data analysis. I have also completed respective courses on Coursera. I am not aware of relevant internships - I guess that for graduate students it will be easier. But anyway the field of big data and large scale machine learning is very hot in the foreseeable future so I definitely recommend to target this field.
